Our season of Celebrating Passover at CCJC begins with the service on 4/9/17 starting with worship at 10 a.m.

In the sermon that follows, Pastor Rick will teach on the Passover and the significance of the Passover Seder.

At a little past 11 a.m., we'll gather in the Fellowship Hall to partake in the Passover Seder.  This, and the subsequent lamb dinner will take the place of our weekly Sunday Fellowship potluck.  A few reminders:

First, each family is asked to bring a few of the elements of the Seder.  That list can be found here.

Second, for those that can, we will be sitting on the floor for the meal.  For those uncomfortable to do so, we will have a few tables set up.

And there's a homework assignment that follows!  smile  Found here is a pdf document detailing the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Hag HaMatzah, a 7-day feast meant to remind us both of our slavery to sin, and our redemption from it. Please review this as Pastor Rick's sermon the following Sunday, Resurrection Sunday, April 16, will tie Unleavened Bread to the redemptive action of Jesus Christ on the cross.
